If you are planning to study at Bingham University for the 2026/2027 academic session, one of the biggest things to settle early is the cost of your programme. Unlike universities where one general figure is sometimes used for every student, Bingham University school fees vary considerably by course and level.

The university has now published its Schedule of Fees for the 2026/2027 academic session on its official website. The schedule gives the total fees payable for individual programmes and separates the amounts according to level.

That makes it possible to give prospective students a much more useful answer to the question: How much is Bingham University school fees?

For the 2026/2027 session, the figures range from ₦480,000 for returning Christian Theology students to ₦4,392,000 for students in Medicine at levels 400–600. Fresh 100-level students in Medicine are listed at ₦4,189,000, while courses such as Computer Science, Accounting, English and several other programmes fall below ₦1.5 million at 100 level.

Law: ₦3,049,000 for 100 level
Nursing: ₦2,761,500 for 100 level

This wide difference is why students searching for Bingham University school fees should always check the figure for their specific course rather than relying on a general estimate.

Bingham University School Fees for Fresh Students

Bingham University School Fees for Returning Students

Returning students do not necessarily pay the same amount as fresh 100-level students.

The university’s 2026/2027 schedule groups returning levels differently depending on the programme.

For example, Computer Science is listed at:

100 level — ₦1,497,500
200–400 levels — ₦1,217,700

For Nursing:

100 level — ₦2,761,500

300–500 levels — ₦2,255,000

For Medicine:

100 level — ₦4,189,000
200–300 levels — ₦3,842,000
400–600 levels — ₦4,392,000

This shows why returning students should check the figure assigned to their particular level instead of assuming that their fees will simply decrease each year.

Bingham University School Fees for Medicine

Medicine is currently the most expensive programme on the university’s 2026/2027 schedule.

Level	Total Fees
100 Level	₦4,189,000
200–300 Level	₦3,842,000
400–600 Level	₦4,392,000

The highest figure in the published undergraduate schedule is therefore ₦4.392 million, applicable to Medicine students in levels 400–600.

Students considering Medicine should therefore plan around the programme’s specific level-based costs rather than using the general Bingham University school fees figure.

Nursing is another high-cost programme at Bingham University.

The fee therefore changes at different stages of the programme.

Level	Total Fees
100 Level	₦1,497,500

Is Accommodation Included in Bingham University School Fees?

The current 2026/2027 page labels the figures “Total Fees 2026/2027”, rather than breaking the displayed amount into tuition, accommodation and individual levies.

Because of this, it is better not to take an old accommodation figure and add it to the current totals.

Bingham University’s older published schedules did list accommodation and several other charges separately, but those documents relate to previous academic sessions and should not be substituted for the current 2026/2027 schedule.

For 2026/2027, students should therefore use the current university invoice and accommodation instructions when calculating their actual amount payable.

Are Bingham University School Fees Paid in Full?

The current schedule establishes the total amount for each programme and level, but the fee page itself does not provide a detailed instalment breakdown alongside the programme table.

Students should therefore follow the payment instructions attached to their admission or student portal rather than assuming that a particular percentage can be paid initially.

If the university provides an instalment option for your programme, the applicable arrangement should appear through the university’s official payment process.

How to Pay Bingham University School Fees

Once you have been admitted, the safest approach is to use the university’s designated payment process.

1. Confirm Your Programme and Level

Before making payment, make sure you have selected the correct programme and academic level.

This matters because Bingham University school fees vary by department and level.

2. Access the University’s Student/Payment Portal

Log into the appropriate university portal using the credentials provided to you.

3. Review Your Fee Details

Check the amount generated for your programme and level.

Compare it with the university’s published 2026/2027 schedule.

4. Generate Your Payment Invoice

Generate the appropriate invoice or payment reference where required.

5. Complete Payment Through the Approved Channel

Use the payment method provided by Bingham University.

Avoid paying into personal accounts or relying on payment details sent through unofficial social-media messages.

6. Confirm the Payment

After completing the transaction, return to the portal and confirm that the payment has been successfully recorded.

7. Print Your Receipt

Download and retain your official payment receipt for registration and clearance.

8. Complete Course Registration

After the payment has been reflected, proceed with the university’s course-registration process.

Financial Aid and Scholarships

Bingham University has a dedicated Available Scholarships section on its website, indicating that scholarships are part of the university’s student-support structure.

Students who may need financial assistance should investigate the scholarships available to their programme and category before assuming that they must personally fund the entire Bingham University school fees amount.

The university’s website also provides a dedicated link for scholarships alongside its Schedule of Fees and part-time fee pages.

Because scholarship conditions can change, students should check the current eligibility requirements for the specific award.

Can NELFUND Be Used for Bingham University School Fees?

This is an important point for prospective students.

Bingham University is a private university, so students should not assume that the federal NELFUND student-loan scheme will cover its tuition simply because NELFUND exists for tertiary students.

For a private institution such as Bingham University, students should rely on the university’s own scholarship and financial-support options unless they have independently established eligibility under a current NELFUND policy.

This is different from public universities and polytechnics where NELFUND institutional eligibility may apply.

Why Bingham University School Fees Differ by Course

The difference in Bingham University school fees becomes especially obvious when comparing programmes.

For example:

Medicine 100 level: ₦4,189,000

versus

Christian Theology 100 level: ₦700,000.

That is a difference of ₦3,489,000.

The same pattern can be seen among returning students. Medical and professional programmes generally carry significantly higher totals than many arts and social science programmes.

Therefore, prospective students should always search using their exact course name rather than relying on a generic “Bingham University school fees” figure.
